Mercy Hafeh

I enjoy taking care of children and working with their families to provide the best possible care. My background in cardiology, working on medical wards has given me lots of knowledge and transferable skills. 

Currently my role as a Paediatric Diabetes Specialist Nurse involves providing specialised nursing care for children and young people living with diabetes. My role involves a combination of clinical, educational, and supportive responsibilities aimed at ensuring the well-being of children with diabetes and supporting their families.

I particularly enjoy the community aspect of my job where I visit patients at home, facilitate peer support and put up social events to further help families to thrive and empower them to be their own experts in diabetes.
